Light the Night Walk
shining a light
The Light the Night Walk is a nationwide campaign supporting patients, families, and research programs for blood cancers, including leukemia and lymphoma. Each year, participants come together to raise awareness, honor survivors, and fund critical programs that provide care and support to those affected by blood cancer.
Hearts of Mercy Foundation proudly participates as a sponsor and active supporter alongside the Dave Thomas Foundation as well as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Together, these organizations coordinate local walk events while contributing significant resources to ensure participants and volunteers are supported throughout the day. As part of our involvement, we donate over 5,000 meals annually, provide on-site support, and help manage logistics to create a welcoming, safe, and impactful experience for all attendees.
Through this partnership, Hearts of Mercy not only helps raise vital funds but also amplifies awareness for blood cancer research and patient care. Our volunteers walk alongside participants, ensuring the event runs smoothly and demonstrating the power of community, compassion, and collective action.
The Light the Night Walk is more than a single event—it is a movement of hope, support, and meaningful action, and Hearts of Mercy is honored to play a role in helping families, patients, and communities affected by blood cancers.
