OC Bocce Championship

Bocce for a cause

The OC Beach Bocce Championship is an annual community event that brings people together for a day of friendly competition, service, and meaningful impact. Hosted in collaboration with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the event supports programs that uplift underprivileged children and teens by providing safe spaces, mentorship, and opportunities to grow both academically and socially.

Each year, community members, sponsors, and volunteers gather along the Orange County coast to participate in the tournament while supporting a greater cause. The event raises funds that directly benefit youth programs offered through the Boys & Girls Club, including after-school enrichment, sports programs, mentorship initiatives, and educational support designed to help young people reach their full potential.

Hearts of Mercy proudly collaborates in this annual event through sponsorship, volunteer service, and community outreach. Volunteers help organize the event, serve meals, and support the day’s activities, contributing to a welcoming environment for participants and supporters alike. Through this partnership, over 500 meals are served each year, helping bring the community together while raising vital funds for youth programs that empower the next generation.

More than just a tournament, the OC Beach Bocce Championship represents the power of community collaboration. By combining service, generosity, and fun, the event creates opportunities for people to come together in support of young individuals who benefit from mentorship, guidance, and access to positive after-school activities.

Through continued partnership with the Boys & Girls Club, Hearts of Mercy remains committed to strengthening local communities and helping ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
